Life Extension N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine
N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is the non-essential amino acid cysteine with an acetyl group. The body uses L-cysteine for the production of the amino acids serine and methionine and the tripeptide glutathione. N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine is rapidly absorbed into the body. Life Extension provides GMO-free NAC.
Ingredients & Usage
Take one capsule 1-3 times daily with or without a meal, or as recommended by a health professional.
Please note:
People taking an N-acetylcysteine supplement should drink 6-8 glasses of water a day to prevent cysteine kidney stones. Cysteine kidney stones are rare, but do occur.
